Job summary

Armstrong World Industries in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Technical Accounting Analyst to support cash flows, pensions, and external reporting in a full-time, in-person role.

You will prepare monthly cash flow statements, assist with Form 10-Q/10-K filings, and liaise with external auditors as part of a growing finance team.

BA or higher in Accounting and 1–2 years of accounting experience, with US GAAP knowledge and strong communication skills, are required; SAP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting.
• 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and SEC requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication; interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly cash flow statements.
• Support quarterly and annual Form 10-Q/K filings.
• Record pension and post-retirement accounting entries and budgets.
• Perform annual goodwill and intangible asset impairment testing.
• Liaise with external auditors for audits.
