Vedder Price P.C. seeks a Senior Financial Systems Engineer in our Chicago office to maintain and improve critical financial and accounting platforms, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness.

The role combines deep technical expertise with knowledge of law firm finance processes, including billing, general ledger, and time entry, while collaborating with Accounting, BI, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of financial or accounting systems experience in the legal industry.
• Proven experience with Elite 3E, Intapp Time, and Emburse Enterprise; Boomi integrations, APIs, SQL, and stored procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead admin, configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of financial management platforms as technical lead to Accounting.
• Oversee technical aspects of implementing new Finance/Accounting systems.
• Develop validation plans, test scripts, and acceptance criteria for systems and integrations.
