Job summary

GE Aerospace, ERAC (Employers Reassurance Corporation), is seeking a qualified accountant to drive GAAP and statutory accounting compliance and deliver precise financial reporting. The role supports audits and regulatory filings with a strong emphasis on internal controls and process improvements.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and insurance-industry experience, with a base pay range of $86,000 to $120,000 and a potential annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
• Public accounting experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual SAP and GAAP financial statements with analysis and disclosures.
• Prepare periodic NAIC financial statement schedules and regulatory exhibits.
• Prepare reconciliations for GAAP and STAT accounting.
• Post routine monthly/quarterly journal entries.
• Develop in-depth discipline knowledge and apply policy/strategy.
• Support internal and external audits
