GE Aerospace is seeking a qualified accounting professional to prepare SAP and GAAP financial statements and to manage regulatory filings for the organization. The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, controls, and compliance across US GAAP and statutory requirements.

The position involves supporting internal/external audits, journal entries, and developing expertise to drive process improvements and operational excellence within a reinsurance and holding company structure.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Established project management skills.
• Public accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual SAP and GAAP financial statements with detailed analyses.
• Prepare NAIC financial statement schedules and exhibits and other regulatory filings.
• Prepare routine monthly/quarterly journal entries.
• Develop in-depth knowledge of a discipline and execute strategy.
• Support internal and external audits.
