Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a qualified accounting professional to drive GAAP and SAP financial reporting for its U.S. operations. You will prepare statutory and GAAP statements, schedule filings, and account reconciliations, while supporting audits and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university.
• Insurance industry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual Statutory Accounting Practices (SAP) and GAAP financial statements with detailed analysis, schedules and disclosures.
• Prepare periodic NAIC financial statement schedules and exhibits and other regulatory filings.
• Prepare reconciliations for GAAP and STAT accounting bases.
• Prepare routine monthly/quarterly journal entries.
• Develop in-depth knowledge to execute policy/strategy within the discipline.
• Support internal and external audits.
