Job summary

GE Aerospace ERAC team seeks an accounting professional to handle statutory and GAAP financial reporting for life and long-term care products. You will prepare SAP/GAAP statements, NAIC schedules, reconciliations, and journal entries while supporting audits and maintaining strong controls.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and insurance experience required. Remote work is supported; discretionary bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• Insurance industry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual SAP and GAAP financial statements.
• Prepare periodic NAIC financial statement schedules and exhibits and other regulatory filings.
• Prepares account reconciliations for GAAP and STAT basis of accounting.
• Prepares routine monthly/quarterly journal entries.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of a discipline and executing policy/strategy.
• Support internal and external audits.
