The Lead Finance Solutions Architect at Citi will shape Citi's global finance future as part of a strategic transformation program. You will drive target state architecture across General Ledger, Financial Close, Data Substantiation, and Reconciliation, translating business goals into an end-to-end blueprint.

Based in New York with a hybrid work model, this senior role offers executive visibility and cross-functional collaboration with Finance, Technology and Operations to support the migration

Qualifications

• 6+ years in senior architecture roles within financial services, transitioning from technical to business solutions.
• Deep knowledge of core finance processes including GL, close and consolidation, data substantiation, and reconciliation.
• Ability to model capabilities and design end-to-end processes at scale in a global organization.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define target state business architecture for core finance domains aligning with objectives and regulations.
• Analyze current finance processes end-to-end to identify gaps and opportunities for automation.
• Develop detailed models, designs, and data flow diagrams to guide transformation.
• Engage senior stakeholders to gather requirements, build consensus, and validate architecture.
• Translate business architecture into functional requirements for technology teams.
