Job summary

Citi in Irving, Texas, is seeking a Lead IT Architect to shape the technology landscape of a global financial institution. You will serve as a technical authority—translating business challenges into robust, scalable solutions across large-scale IT systems.

You will design end-to-end architectures, mentor junior engineers, and drive enterprise roadmaps with senior stakeholders. Hybrid work arrangement includes 3 days in the office and 2 remote, focusing on delivering high-impact technology

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in IT architecture or related field.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication to diverse audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and tight deadlines.
• Excellent relationship-building across tech and business teams.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, with initiative to tackle new challenges.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of enterprise IT architecture across major technology programs.
• Build and maintain technology roadmaps by evaluating emerging technologies.
• Design end-to-end systems architecture across the SDLC.
• Translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Evaluate infrastructure and platforms to meet Citi's goals.
• Drive integrated planning and champion innovative technologies.
• Act as senior technical advisor to stakeholders and guide decisions.
• Mentor and support junior team members in architectural best practices.
