Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated (JLL) is seeking a Finance Analyst to deliver financial services, including AP/AR/GL activities, accruals, and period close, while coordinating client billings to the account team. The role supports APAC variance reporting and process improvements in a remote-capable environment.

You will collaborate with site teams and the client finance group to ensure accurate monthly accruals and timely reporting, while leveraging Excel for reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting.
• Good command of spoken and written English; AP/AR/GL and Financial Analysis experiences in finance across APAC a plus.
• Must be able to own responsibilities and processes.
• Excel-based reporting will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver financial services: manage payments to IFM suppliers, prepare monthly expense accruals, revenue accruals, and period close; coordinate client billings to the account team.
• Review billing template with documents such as contract terms, T&E report, reimbursable expense tracker, open AR analysis; follow up.
• Manage bank balances and review Open AP; highlight payment schedules.
• Assist in Open PO reports (JDE Vendors) and educate teams on common errors; build knowledge of operations.
• Educate site teams on process flow; establish a self-help culture and intuitive controls.
• Prepare monthly accrual in collaboration with site teams and client finance.
• Assist with variance reporting compilation for APAC; streamline reports and processes with core team.
• Execute month-end checklist; perform ad-hoc tasks as needed.

What this job involves:

Responsible for delivering financial services, including managing payments to IFM suppliers, preparing monthly expense accrual, revenue accrual, and period close, coordinating JLL Client billings, to account team in a timely and accurate manner while enforcing and complying with Jones Lang LaSalle’s accounting policies and procedures.

• Review the billing template from the site team with supporting documents such as contract terms, T&E report, Reimbursable expense tracker, open AR analysis, and follow-up.
• Manage bank balance and review Open AP and highlight payment schedule list.
• Assist in the review of Open PO reports (JDE Vendors) and educate teams on common errors and build overall knowledge of operational teams.
• Educating site teams on process flow, including knowledge of the line of corrective actions required when errors arise; objective to build a self-help culture.
• Work with the site team and client finance to prepare monthly accrual.
• Assisting with variance reporting compilation for APAC; Working with the core team on streamlining reports/processes.
• Month-end checklist process.
• Assisting with other ad-hoc work as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting.
• Good command of spoken and written English AP/AR/GL and Financial Analysis experiences in finance across APAC will be a plus.
• Must be able to ‘own’ responsibilities and processes.
• Excel-based reporting will be advantageous.
