National Grid is hiring a Senior Analyst – Finance Business Partnering to support US IT with financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. You will collaborate with IT leaders, Finance colleagues, and business units to provide insight, drive performance, and enable informed decision making.

The role focuses on planning, forecasting, variance analysis, cost transparency, and governance across run, grow, and transform spend, with emphasis on data quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or Master’s degree a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in finance, FP&A, business partnering, or related fields within complex organizations.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; SAP/Power BI or similar tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support IT planning, forecasting, and performance management aligned with enterprise requirements.
• Prepare financial analysis, commentary, and scenario assessments for operational and investment decisions.
• Identify risks, opportunities, variances, and communicate drivers and trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Partner with IT, Business Units, and Plan to Perform to ensure alignment and delivery.
• Contribute to process improvement, reporting consistency, and knowledge sharing across finance partnering activities.
• Develop performance reporting and management insight linking spend to operational outcomes and benefits.
