Job summary

Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a senior finance professional to lead management accounts for divisional functions, reporting to the Head of Management Accounts. You will deputise as needed and drive robust monthly reporting and forecasting aligned with Trust objectives.

The role includes advising senior managers on budgets, supporting business planning and sustainability initiatives, and supervising a team to ensure timely month-end close and strong internal controls.

• Provide robust monthly management accounts reporting for divisional leads.
• Produce accurate monthly forecast of divisional financial position with risks and mitigations.
• Support divisional budgets, business planning, and sustainability/efficiency programmes.
• Line manage a team and ensure timely month-end production and internal controls.
