Brookfield Real Estate Group seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to generate, prepare, and communicate financial information for decision making and reporting. You will perform corporate and real estate accounting tasks under guidance from Accounting Managers, with evolving responsibilities as you gain experience.

You will work with IFRS/US GAAP, maintain intercompany reconciliations, review entries, and assist auditors while supporting tax and legal teams.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or in progress.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum 3+ years of progressive accounting or reporting experience.
• Working knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, ICA GAAP.
• Excel proficiency; Yardi or OneStream familiarity preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare financial statements, investor reporting, and schedules per applicable accounting basis.
• Maintain reconciliations for intercompany balances and equity movements.
• Review journal entries and accruals for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist auditors by preparing documentation and coordinating requests.
• Support tax and legal teams on dividends, contributions, and entity compliance.
• Contribute to reporting hand-offs with third-party accounting teams.
• Support process improvements with partners and technology to enhance reporting efficiency.

Formation

CPA designation or in progress

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

3+ years of accounting or reporting experience

IFRS, US GAAP, ICA GAAP knowledge
