Job summary

City Colleges of Chicago Foundation seeks an Associate Vice Chancellor of Finance and Operations (CCCF) to serve as the senior financial and operational leader, overseeing gifts, grants, budgets, and reporting to support philanthropic and institutional priorities.

This role partners with the Development team and CCCF Board, drives multiyear program budgets, and provides data-driven analysis to guide fundraising and spend planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Masters preferred.
• CPA or advanced experience in charitable foundation fund accounting required.
• 7+ years in finance, accounting, fundraising operations, or related areas, preferably nonprofit.
• Experience with fund accounting and financial management for 501(c)(3) organizations preferred.
• Knowledge of fundraising CRMs; Bloomerang and Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops the Foundations annual income and expense budget with CCC CFO, Board, and President.
• Performs financial analysis of revenues, expenditures, and performance; presents reports to support decisions.
• Leads multiyear program budgets and provides data-driven analysis for fundraising and campaigns.
• Attends quarterly CCCF Board meetings and presents financial forecasting and budget issues.
• Manages gifts, grants, and contributions in line with donor intent and grant agreements.
• Prepares quarterly and annual spending reports for funders on disbursement of funds.
• Designs and manages multiyear, multi-million-dollar program budgets with Partners.
