QinetiQ US, formerly Avantus Federal, is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join our Finance team in Virginia. The role focuses on financial planning, analysis, reporting, and support for government contracts, including cost-reimbursable, fixed-price, and T&M arrangements.

The ideal candidate has strong EVM, FAR/DFARS knowledge, and ERP experience. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, monthly close, and variance analysis, partnering with program managers and executives to drive performance

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
• 7–10+ years of program control, financial analysis, or project accounting in government contracting.
• Deep understanding of FAR/DFARS, cost-plus and fixed-price contracts, and indirect cost allocation.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated experience with EV M principles and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary financial liaison between program managers, corporate finance, and clients on assigned programs.
• Develop and maintain detailed program budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Prepare and present monthly financial reports (including EACs, ETCs, and cash flow).
• Support project start-up, execution, and close-out activities, including ERP setup.
• Monitor funding, burn rates, and contract ceilings; notify stakeholders of risks.
• Ensure compliance with CAS, FAR/DFARS, and internal policies.
• Lead analysis on cost, schedule, performance, and risk reporting.
• Mentor junior program finance staff; drive process improvements.
