Job summary

Walmart seeks a Senior Manager, Finance to lead financial planning, analysis, and risk mitigation in support of strategic business decisions. The role drives financial controls, reporting transparency, and coordination with cross-functional teams to monitor performance and address variances.

Responsibilities include modeling, presenting to senior leadership, overseeing multiple initiatives, and mentoring associates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
• 1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
• 1 year’s supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze complex financial models to support planning and recommend future expense targets.
• Manage control structures to mitigate financial risks and ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance financial processes and reporting transparency.
• Communicate financial results, forecasts, and variances to senior management with clear presentations and documentation.
• Lead execution of business plans by identifying needs, setting priorities, and adjusting performance to meet objectives.
• Supervise and develop associates through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
• Promote adherence to company policies, ethics, and integrity standards across teams.
