CCS Consulting & EXECUTIVE SEARCH client in the Greater Portland area seeks a Senior Manager, Finance to drive strategic initiatives and provide financial leadership beyond day-to-day reporting.

Hybrid role (3 days onsite) with executive visibility; you’ll partner with Operations, Marketing, Accounting, and FP&A to translate complex multi-entity data into decisions on pricing, investments, and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a Business related field.
• 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in financial analysis, translating data into insights for audiences from analysts to executives
• Experience working directly with business executives on projects or cross-functional teams
• Strong modeling, forecasting, and business-case skills

Responsibilities

• Build the financial case for new strategies: forecasts, pricing impact, feasibility assessments, and when, where, and how much to invest
• Diagnose why an initiative is over- or underperforming, identify the root cause, and recommend next steps
• Benchmark financial and operational KPIs to guide project decisions and shape location-level and enterprise-wide results
• Partner with central team leaders on cross-functional projects, from scoping through execution
• Present findings and recommendations to senior and operations leadership
• Serve as the primary finance point of contact for the VP of Operational Finance

Senior Manager, Finance (Strategic Initiatives & Operational Finance)

The opportunity

Our client, a multi-site, consumer-facing services organization, is looking for a finance leader who can turn complex, multi-entity operating data into decisions. You’ll be the financial partner behind the company’s most significant strategic projects: pricing, investment cases, feasibility, and growth initiatives. You’ll report to the VP of Operational Finance and work with senior leaders across Operations, Marketing, Accounting, and FP&A. This is an individual-contributor role with real influence and executive visibility. It focuses on strategic initiatives, not day-to-day reporting.

What you’ll do

• Build the financial case for new strategies: forecasts, pricing impact, feasibility assessments, and when, where, and how much to invest

What you bring

Required

• Career breadth beyond finance, such as operations, strategy, or commercial roles

Compensation and benefits

Base pay range: $150,000–$190,000 + Bonus based on experience, skills, education, and location.
