Job summary

Cobalt Cattle Company LLC is seeking a VP of Finance to lead financial reporting, planning, treasury, and risk management. You will oversee a team, partner with the President on strategy, and ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and maintaining internal controls; you will drive financial performance and partner with lenders and auditors to support growth and long-term stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; MBA preferred.
• CPA or CMA designation preferred; deep knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• 10+ years of direct finance/accounting experience with leadership and ERP/system integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting, planning, treasury, and risk management functions.
• Ensure GAAP/GAAS compliance and maintain strong internal controls.
• Oversee monthly financial statements, budgets, and cash flow projections.
• Manage lender relationships and capital strategy; monitor debt facilities.
• Develop business intelligence tools to enable data-driven decisions.
