Job summary

Citi is seeking a Sr. Financial Officer to lead financial oversight for the Personal Loan portfolio within US Branded Cards. The role entails guiding budgeting, forecasting, and strategic investment decisions across Product, Marketing, Risk, and Finance teams.

The candidate will drive financial performance, build business cases, manage expense discipline, and present insights to senior management. A senior leadership background and robust banking experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional accounting certification and/or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in financial services with a focus in consumer banking.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and leadership experience.
• Experience building financial models and P&L analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial oversight including budgeting, reporting and planning for Personal Loan portfolio.
• Collaborate with Product leadership to align financial targets with business strategy.
• Analyze business drivers and maintain internal controls across multiple partners.
• Develop analytical models and business cases to support product investments and pricing decisions.
• Forecast development and marketing investment decisioning processes; manage expense discipline.
• Communicate portfolio performance and insights to senior management through reviews.
