ATD (Association for Talent Development) seeks a Senior Director of Finance to lead financial strategy, planning, and operations. You will guide budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while partnering with leadership to sustain long-term growth and impact.

Located in Alexandria, VA with a hybrid work model, this role requires extensive nonprofit finance experience, leadership of cross-functional teams, and strategic collaboration with the CEO and Board.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and financial planning & analysis; nonprofit/membership experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Serve as primary financial advisor to CEO and SLT; influence strategic decisions and long-term sustainability.
• Lead annual operating and capital budgets; oversee forecasting and long-range planning.
• Oversee accounting operations, GAAP reporting, audits, tax, and treasury management.
• Manage financial systems integrations, internal controls, and process improvements.
