Association for Talent Development (ATD) is seeking aSenior Finance Director to lead financial strategy, planning, and operations, reporting to the President & CEO and serving on the Senior Leadership team. This role oversees accounting, FP&A, contracts, compliance, and risk management while guiding the organization’s long-term financial health.

You will partner with HR, BI, and other departments to improve reporting, controls, and financial processes, including international activity.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience with leadership.
• Experience leading accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and FP&A.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, revenue recognition, internal controls and audit requirements.
• Experience in nonprofit, membership organization with multiple revenue streams.
• Experience advising executive leadership and presenting to Boards or finance committees.
• Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, including cash flow planning and risk assessment.
• Experience with Workday Financials and Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Familiarity with CRM/association systems like Salesforce and Personify.

• Serve as the primary financial advisor to the CEO and Senior Leadership team with strategic guidance.
• Evaluate risks and returns of initiatives, investments, pricing, staffing, and new opportunities.
• Prepare and present financial results, analyses, and recommendations to executives and the Board.
• Partner with department leaders to evaluate performance and strengthen financial accountability.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
• Oversee accounting operations and GAAP-compliant financial statements.
