Job summary

Fluor, a leading government contractor, seeks a highly experienced Finance Manager to support a life cycle financial operations on a government contract in Aurora, CO or Reston, VA. You will lead a team, manage reporting, and ensure compliance with FAR/CAS.

The role covers estimating, pricing, budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, and cost control across CPAF, FFP, LOE, and CR, with emphasis on accuracy, timeliness, and collaboration with Program Managers, customer points of contact, and Fluor's

Qualifications

• Accredited four (4) year degree with extensive experience or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors and stakeholders
• Job related technical knowledge to complete the job
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of local and federal statutes and guidelines
• Attention to detail and time-conscious work style

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of individual contributors
• Development, analysis, and submission of client specific standard reporting
• Review of client invoices for accuracy and contractual compliance
• Labor hour tracking and OT reporting
• Development, analysis, and submission of internal management reporting
• Development, analysis, and submission of company and customer accruals
• Active participation in monthly financial close process
• Vendor PO tracking, reconciliation and reporting
• Purchasing Card reconciliation approval
• ODC management, analysis, and reporting
• Work authorization development and management
• Project code development and maintenance
• BOE, pricing, ECP and REA development, review and submission
• Project forecast/EAC development and reporting
• Support Project Management and Project Controls in forecasting reasonableness
• Cost transition burdening, forecasting, and reporting
• Ad hoc financial analysis
• Costpoint and Excel delivery of reports
