Job summary

Acre in Baltimore is seeking a Financial Data Governance professional to build trusted data for ERP and reporting. You will design data models, governance rules, and automated dashboards that support Accounting, Controllership, and Tax across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with Accounting, Controllership, Finance, and IT to ensure data integrity, enable near real-time reporting, and strengthen internal controls through analytics and modern data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IS, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 4+ years supporting Accounting, Controllership, Financial Reporting, Audit, Financial Systems, or Finance Transformation.
• Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, or PeopleSoft.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting processes, GL structures, and reconciliation concepts.
• Experience with Power BI and SQL.
• Experience designing data quality controls, validation rules, reconciliations, or governance frameworks.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both accounting and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a steward of financial and accounting data across ERP and reporting platforms.
• Establish data governance processes, business rules, validation controls, and reporting standards.
• Partner with Accounting and Controllership to resolve data quality and reporting issues.
• Ensure consistency of master data including COA, cost centers, legal entities, and project structures.
• Define and document data lineage, transformation logic, reporting definitions, and business rules.
• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for Accounting, Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, and Controllership.
• Automate manual controls, reconciliations, and reporting processes through technology and analytics.
• Develop monitoring tools and exception reporting to improve financial controls.
