Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced finance leader in Phoenix to oversee accounting, auditing, and financial reporting. The role drives internal controls, elevates analytical capabilities, and ensures alignment of financial plans with company goals.

You will manage banking relationships, coordinate with auditors, and guide a finance team. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), 10+ years in accounting/finance, and strong leadership with CPA preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. Ten+ years related experience. CPA license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal audits and controls across departments.
• Prepare timely monthly financial records for President and Board of Directors.
• Ensure financial plans align with organizational goals.
• Provide financial analysis for ventures and projects when necessary.
• Manage commercial banking relationships and credit resources.
• Interface with outside audit firms, banks, insurers, and collection agencies.
• Report to the Board of Directors when necessary.
• Supervise the Accounting/Finance team.
