Job summary

Carcoustics in Buford, GA is seeking an experienced Controlling and Accounting Manager to oversee all financial controlling and accounting activities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. You will lead a small accounting team and partner with operations, engineering, and executive leadership to deliver accurate financial insights.

The role combines day-to-day financial operations with strategic business partnering, requiring hands-on involvement, IFRS/local GAAP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial controlling and accounting within manufacturing, preferably automotive.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS/local GAAP, tax law, and cost accounting.
• Proven ERP experience (SAP) and reporting tools (Lucanet).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex financial info to non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full financial operations: budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
• Manage month/quarter/annual closings per IFRS/local GAAP.
• Ensure GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, and payroll accuracy.
• Lead monthly SAP and Lucanet reporting and deviations analysis.
• Present results to management with actionable recommendations.
• Maintain bi-weekly liquidity forecasts and strategic alignment.
• Drive cost center accounting, product costing, and manufacturing cost control.
• Support investment planning and DCF calculations.
• Coordinate audits with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Identify process improvements for transparency and efficiency.
• Lead and develop a small accounting team and partner with operations.
