Texas A&M University’s Finance - Bush School is seeking an FBS Administrator III to provide accounting and business support to a designated unit, department, college, or other System member. The role includes auditing, reporting, reconciling, tracking, reviewing, and approving actions on designated accounts, while offering strategic input and serving as a resource to staff.

The position is based in Washington, DC, requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance with four years

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Four years of related experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial management systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Exhibits mastery in executing, reviewing, and auditing complex accounting and financial transactions.
Develops and prepares financial presentations, reports, financial models, and projections.
Provides reports and executive-level communication and customer service to VP’s, Deans, Department Heads, and other senior staff.
Assists in setting strategic and programmatic financial and budget goals.
Assists in performing Annual Financial Report (AFR) tasks.
Tracks budgets and assists with department allocations and budget requests.
