Dynamics Executive Search in New York is seeking an FP&A Associate to support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting across domestic and international markets within a financial services organization.

You will partner with Finance and business stakeholders from Equities, Fixed Income, Investment Banking, and Asset Management to analyze performance, build financial models, and improve reporting processes.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with budgets, forecasts, management reporting, and financial performance analyses.
• Review revenue, operating expenses, and cost allocations across business units, regions, and legal entities.
• Investigate financial results, identify material variances, and provide insight into the underlying business drivers.
• Work with Finance and business stakeholders to gather information, resolve reporting issues, and improve understanding of financial performance.
• Evaluate the financial impact of various capital markets and investment products and incorporate relevant considerations into analysis.
• Review intercompany and shared-cost allocations to ensure financial activity is reflected in the appropriate entities and businesses.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc management reports used to support business planning and decision-making.
• Maintain and utilize financial reporting, consolidation, ERP, and planning platforms, including systems such as OneStream or Hyperion.
• Identify trends and opportunities for improved reporting, forecasting, and financial controls.

A financial services organization is looking to add an FP&A Associate to its corporate finance function. This individual will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis for several revenue-generating businesses operating across domestic and international markets.

The role will work closely with Finance partners and business stakeholders across areas such as Equities, Fixed Income, Investment Banking, Asset Management, and related businesses. The successful candidate should have experience analyzing financial performance within a financial institution, a strong command of financial concepts, and the ability to connect business activity and financial products to reported results. Candidates who have completed rotational finance programs at major financial institutions are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
• 2–6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial reporting, or financial analysis within the financial services industry.
• Background with an investment bank, asset manager, broker-dealer, or similar financial institution preferred.
• Familiarity with at least one major financial services business, including Equities, Fixed Income, Investment Banking, Asset Management, or Wealth Management.
• Demonstrated ability to work with financial models, large datasets, and complex financial information.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems or planning platforms.
• Exposure to OneStream, Hyperion, or comparable financial planning/consolidation technology is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
