Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria Biopharmaceutical Accelerator (CARB-X) is a global non-profit partnership under the School of Law dedicated to accelerating antibacterial research to tackle the rising threat of drug-resistant bacteria. The CARB-X portfolio is the world's largest early development pipeline of antibiotics, vaccines, diagnostics, and other products to prevent, diagnose, and treat bacterial infections. Supported by government, foundation funders, and in-kind contributions, CARB-X fosters an innovative and dynamic environment. The Senior Finance and Research Administrator supports all financial functions and award management within the Finance & Research Administration (FRA) team at CARB-X.
The role involves managing a portfolio of Product Developers (PDs) funded by CARB-X, overseeing pre- and post-award activities, and ensuring compliance and proper financial management. The incumbent will collaborate with internal teams (Executive, Project Management, Legal, Compliance, Communication, Research & Development) and external partners to align award management with research goals and organizational mission. Reporting to the Associate Director, this position is vital for PD management, process improvement, and financial operations supporting CARB-X's portfolio management.
This position offers a hybrid remote work arrangement with occasional in-person meetings. Applicants outside Boston are encouraged to apply. Please note, no visa sponsorship is available for this role.
