CARB-X is seeking an expert in the research and development of prevention products to join our team at Boston University. CARB-X is a non-profit organization accelerating the pre-clinical development of drugs, vaccines, and diagnostics to address antibiotic resistance. Since our launch in 2016, CARB-X has awarded hundreds of millions of dollars, making it one of the largest and fastest-growing public-private research partnerships in the world. Managing our portfolio of products is central to the mission of CARB-X. We are looking for an experienced individual to help manage the prevention portfolio that includes projects involving vaccines, live biotherapeutics, bacteriophage, and other preventative products. Experience managing drug projects in a biotech or pharma environment, infectious diseases research, and discovery and development from early discovery through initial clinical trials is required. Experience with evaluating and collaboratively bringing products into a portfolio is highly desirable. The position can be entirely virtual, but the successful candidate must be able to work (at least partially) in ET and CET time zones.
