Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Finance Analytics & AI Senior Consultant in the United States to help clients transform planning, budgeting, forecasting, and close using data and AI. You will design AI-enabled solutions, build assets in Python and SQL, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across cloud platforms.

The role emphasizes delivering impactful financial insights, guiding delivery, and managing risk for complex engagements with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/DS/IS/Finance/Engineering or related field.
• Engineering/CS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of software development with Python or similar.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (e.g., GCP).
• Experience taking production AI solutions from conception to launch.
• Experience leading technical discovery sessions with customers.
• Experience building data pipelines with vector DBs and RAG-like architectures.
• Experience using Python and SQL on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience architecting AI across infra, model, and app layers (AWS/GCP/Azure; GPT-4o/Claude/Llama; ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini).
• Experience with finance data for planning, forecasting, close, profitability.
• Ability to travel ~50%; relocation not required.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of finance transformation solutions using data, automation, ML, and AI.
• Architect AI solutions across infra, model, and app layers for budgeting, forecasting, and close.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into AI design requirements and plans.
• Partner with developers to build AI-enabled solutions and provide guidance.
• Develop data, analytics, and AI assets using Python, SQL, and cloud platforms.
• Contribute to client workshops, solution demos, testing, and deployment activities.
