Job summary

NextEra Energy is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to support the PGD Renewable Operations Integration group, focusing on site-level cost tracking, budgeting, and ROI planning.

You will manage forecasts, develop models, and provide analysis to drive strategic decisions across wind, solar, and storage projects. The role requires advanced Excel, strong communication, and a track record in financial analysis within energy or manufacturing settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform site-level cost accounting activities including variance analysis, standard cost development, activity-based costing, and inventory control.
• Provide financial leadership to operations through decision support and strategy development.
• Support new lines of business and identify ways to reduce overhead cost per job.
• Deliver reporting and analyses for operations activity, including productivity, capital and overhead spend, forecasting, budgeting, absorption, sales, and inventory and operations planning.
• Communicate and explain operational performance through P&L to stakeholders.
• Lead and execute process improvement projects using Six Sigma principles.
