Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources, part of NextEra Energy, seeks a cost and growth team member in the Power Generation Division to develop long-term O&M cost models for solar, storage, and wind, and to support financial strategy.

You will negotiate operational terms in PPAs and energy storage agreements, perform ad hoc analytics for executive decisions, and help translate business needs into actionable financial plans with strong communication across the organization.

Qualifications

• Develop long-term operating cost models for renewable projects.
• Support negotiation of operational terms in power purchase agreements and energy storage agreements.
• Provide analytical input to financial strategy of PGD.
• Assess risks and opportunities for greenfield solar, storage and wind projects.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and complete large or multiple projects within budget and scheduling guidelines.
• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
• Secure resources and manage budgets, risks and changes using formal processes.
• Conduct project meetings and track analysis.
• Identify issues, measure results, and implement solutions.
• Provide information to internal and external clients on moderate to complex issues.
• Create and present materials for updates to stakeholders.
• Conduct external research and stay abreast of developments affecting the project.
• Provide coaching and leadership to project team.
• Performs other project-related duties as assigned.
