Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources, LLC in Florida seeks a project management professional to join the Power Generation Division’s Cost and Growth team. You will develop long‑term operating cost models, negotiate operational terms in power purchase agreements, and provide analytical support to shape PGD’s financial strategy.

Responsibilities include building O&M forecast models for greenfield solar, storage and wind projects, supporting mergers and acquisitions, and advising executives on cost decisions.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED
• Bachelor’s or Equivalent Experience
• Experience: 2+ years

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and completes a large or several medium or small project(s) within budgetary and scheduling guidelines
• Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports
• Secures required resources and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes
• Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis
• Identifies issues and challenges, measures and validates results, and implements solutions
• Provides information to internal and external clients on moderate to complex issues
• Creates and communicates presentation materials for report out and updates with various levels of internal and external stakeholders
• Conducts external research and stays abreast of new developments or innovative advancements pertaining to the project
• Provides coaching, leadership and direction to project team
• Performs other job‑related duties as assigned
