Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a financial analyst to perform forecasting, variance analysis and trend reporting, developing spreadsheets and dashboards for management. You will prepare ad hoc analyses, document findings, and present to senior leadership.

You will work with Accounting/Finance teams, use MS Excel, MS Access and Power BI to input, analyze and report data. A Bachelor's degree and 5–10 years in accounting/finance are preferred; travel and HIPAA compliance noted.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant, progressive experience in Accounting and/or Finance.
• Experience with MS Excel and/or MS Access.
• Experience with Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead and document financial analysis projects including the preparation of ad hoc reports; gathering of data, analysis, documentation of findings, and calculation of results and generation of reports for distribution.
• Coordinate activities to ensure the project is advancing properly and to ensure the project is completed within the timeframes established.
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets and databases; provide reasoning for variances and make recommendations relative to reserves, assets, and expenditures.
