Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Finance Senior Analyst to apply advanced cash and accrual accounting to prepare, evaluate, maintain, and deliver complete financial reports for a complex portfolio of CBRE clients and properties.

The role supports the Financial Strategy and Operations function, ensuring accurate accounting policies and controls. Responsibilities include journal entries, package preparation, and issue resolution to uphold reporting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply judgment and precedents.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Prepare client financial statement packages with intermediate- to advanced-level accounting tasks.
• Create and post journal entries and ensure expenses, receipts, owner distributions, and funding requests are accurately recorded.
• Generate and review financial packages for accuracy; deliver on schedule to client and management teams.
• Review funding and payment requests for accuracy, documentation, and authorization.
• Respond to and resolve complex issues from management and clients regarding accounting reports.
• Identify potential issues and take corrective actions to minimize problems.
