Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Finance Analyst to apply basic cash and accrual accounting principles to prepare, evaluate, maintain, and deliver complete and accurate financial reports for a portfolio of clients and properties.

This role sits in the Financial Strategy and Operations function, responsible for maintaining accounting policies and controls. You will post journal entries, generate reports, and support management with accurate financial packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience analyzing information and making judgments using standard practices.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Complete accounting transactions in preparation of client financial statement packages.
• Create and post journal entries and ensure all expenses, receipts, distributions, funding requests, and other transactions are accurately posted.
• Use aggregate data from multiple sources to generate reports.
• Generate financial packages for accuracy and comprehensive reporting.
• Review information for accuracy and respond to management and vendor requests.
• Understand scenario planning tools and analyze trends in business conditions.
• Respond to and resolve issues from management teams and clients regarding accounting reports.
• Research open accounting issues and anticipate conflicts to minimize problems.
• Apply standard procedures to solve routine problems.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values.
