Job summary

Kiewit’s Southern California District seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support a project in operations, accounting, finance, regulatory compliance, and reporting. You will use strong Excel skills to shape data into visual presentations for operation leadership and identify trends in construction job costs.

Collaborating with project and district management, you’ll focus on budgeting/forecasting, revenue recognition, and report generation to assist operations leadership.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of financial/data analysis experience with 2+ years in leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field.
• Direct construction industry experience and contract-model knowledge.
• Strong Excel, Word and Outlook skills; Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project costs, budgeting and forecasting to support operations leadership.
• Prepare timely reports and dashboards using data from multiple systems.
• Collaborate with district management; provide trusted financial insights.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting rules.
• Support revenue recognition and cost reporting for project health.
