Job summary

Wolters Kluwer in the United States is seeking a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to partner with global planning, performance management, and decision-support teams. You will apply rigorous financial modeling, analytics, and standardized processes to improve forecasting and reporting.

You will leverage AI-driven insights and agentic automation to speed data aggregation, generate scenarios, and deliver clear recommendations to senior leadership across geographies. Travel ~20% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• 5+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or similar role.
• Experience supporting senior stakeholders in a business partnering capacity.
• Global experience and travel ~20% in US/Europe.

Role Summary

As a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, you will serve as a core finance partner supporting global planning, performance management, and decision-making. The role combines strong financial rigor with advanced analytics and process innovation, including the use of AI-driven insights and agentic automation to enhance planning effectiveness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex financial analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning to support global business decisions
• Partner with business leaders to provide actionable insights on performance, risks, and opportunities
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models supporting budgeting, long-range planning, and investment decisions
• Drive variance analysis and performance tracking, translating results into clear recommendations
• Improve planning, forecasting, and reporting processes through standardization and automation
• Leverage AI and agentic tools to automate data aggregation, variance explanations, and scenario generation, increasing speed and quality of insights
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data and reporting outputs
• Support strategic initiatives through business cases and financial modeling

Skills

• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical capabilities

• Experience with planning systems (e.g., Tagetik) and data-driven decision support

Experience

• Experience supporting senior stakeholders in a business partnering capacity
• Exposure to advanced analytics, automation, or AI-driven finance tools preferred
• Global experience preferred
• Travel is approx. 20% in the U.S. and Europe

Compensation

$71,300.00 - $124,500.00 USD

This role is eligible for Bonus.
