Job summary

Apple is seeking an experienced Professional Services Engineer to consult on customer engagements, lead FileMaker solution development, and help grow the developer ecosystem around Claris. You will work across projects, internal initiatives, and partnerships, applying deep FileMaker expertise and strong customer instincts.

The role requires strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage multiple engagements from discovery to deployment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining FileMaker solutions.
• Strong knowledge of FileMaker architecture, data modeling, scripting, layouts, integrations, security, testing, and deployment.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reliable technical solutions.
• Experience working directly with customers, partners, developers, or other external technical stakeholders.
• Ability to lead projects through the complete software development lifecycle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Professional Services across projects, teams, customers, and stakeholders.
• Lead development of internal FileMaker solutions and support customer engagements.
• Collaborate with Claris partners, customers, and Engineering to design and deliver tailored FileMaker solutions.
• Manage end-to-end lifecycle for FileMaker implementations, including requirements gathering, architecture, development, testing, deployment and documentation.
• Assist in modernization of legacy systems and improve reliability of workflows.
