Job summary

Optimal Solutions & Technologies (OST, Inc.) seeks a Fielding Support / Network Support Engineer to provide technical engineering and operational support for fielding, integration, and sustainment of training, simulation, and networked systems for Government programs.

The role covers on-site and remote network support, configuration of routers, switches, servers, and related infrastructure, and collaboration with program offices, cybersecurity personnel, and contractors; travel to fielding

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting fielding, networking, or systems integration activities.
Experience with network configuration, troubleshooting, and sustainment; fielding and integration of networked systems; hardware and software installation and checkout.
Active Secret security clearance; authorized to handle CUI.

Responsibilities

Provide technical engineering and operational support for fielding, integration, configuration, and sustainment of training, simulation, instrumentation, and networked systems for Government programs.
Support on-site fielding activities, site readiness, and verification to contractual Government standards.
Provide on-site and remote network support, including configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, servers, and network infrastructure.
Document configurations, issues, and resolutions; coordinate with program offices, engineers, and cybersecurity personnel to ensure successful fielding and sustainment.
