Job summary

Tactical Engineering & Analysis, Inc. seeks a Network Engineer to design, implement, and sustain secure DoD communications and transport solutions across classified facilities and cloud environments.

You will install, configure, and troubleshoot network equipment, monitor performance, and ensure IA policies are applied. Occasional travel may be required for field installations and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM field is required.
• IAT Level III certification is required.
• Operating system certification is required.
• CompTIA Security+ is required.
• Cisco CCNA certification is required.
• CCNP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement communications solutions for field/remote locations.
• Assist in designing and implementing network and transport solutions.
• Configure and maintain network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs).
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics of network issues.
• Monitor network performance and security; optimize for efficiency.
• Maintain network documentation and diagrams.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders on projects.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and staff.
• Ensure compliance with security standards.
• Manage library of network engineering tools for testing and diagnostics.
• Apply leading-edge principles to develop and maintain standards and guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of networking security best practices.
