Job summary

NV5 is seeking a Senior Field Testing Technician to deliver QA/QC services on construction materials and field projects. You will maintain detailed daily field records and ensure compliance with ASTM/ACI/standards while working in field and office settings.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma, 4+ years of field experience, ACI Level I, and certifications such as ICC Soils Inspector or NICET; radiation safety training is a plus. NV5 offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four+ years of field experience in QA/QC testing.
• ACI Level I Certification is required.
• ICC Soils Special Inspector Certification is a plus.
• NICET certification is a plus.
• Radiation safety training is a plus.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy.
• Perform QA/QC testing on construction materials and field observations.
• Identify non-conforming results and report to Project Manager promptly.
• Review plans and specs for compliance with requirements.
• Prepare daily field reports detailing tests and observations.
• Maintain testing equipment per codes and procedures.
• Operate radiation gauge equipment safely and in compliance with policies.
