Job summary
Actalent in Fayetteville, GA is seeking a Senior Field Technician to support field testing, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical power equipment across low to high voltage systems. This contract-to-hire role requires extensive travel and overtime to meet project needs.
You will work hands-on at customer sites, document findings, and follow safety practices while pursuing NETA certification.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical power field.
- NETA certification or pursuing toward accreditation.
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally.
- Overtime availability (5–10 hours/week).
Responsibilities
- Travel locally and regionally to perform electrical testing, inspection, and maintenance.
- Assist with testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical power equipment.
- Work safely around low to high voltage systems following procedures.
- Document test results and field findings for reporting.
- Read manuals and schematics to aid troubleshooting.
- Participate in safety meetings and NETA certification prep.
