Job summary

Electric Power Systems, a NETA-accredited independent electrical testing and engineering organization, seeks a Sr. Field Technician to inspect, test, and maintain high, medium, and low voltage electrical power equipment across North America.

Responsibilities include leading safety briefings, performing voltage tests, troubleshooting with manuals and diagrams, and generating detailed test reports. Requires 10+ years of experience, NETA certification, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to pass a satisfactory criminal background check.
• Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety briefings on job site, identify, eliminate, or mitigate hazards.
• Perform High, Medium, and Low voltage testing as a crew leader.
• Consult manuals, schematics, and engineering personnel to troubleshoot equipment.
• Prepare and maintain reports detailing tests, repairs, and maintenance.
• Project management of large scale and complex projects.
• Train and qualify Field Technician I, II and III.
• Interact with customers.
