Electric Power Systems in San Diego, CA is seeking a Sr. Field Technician to inspect, test, and maintain high, medium, and low voltage electrical power equipment on diverse projects across North America.

Qualifications

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Complete a satisfactory criminal background check.
• Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.

Responsabilités

• Lead safety briefings on job site, identify, eliminate, or mitigate hazards.
• Perform High, Medium, and Low voltage testing of electrical power equipment as a crew leader.
• Utilize Human Performance Error Elimination concepts and tools.
• Consult manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering personnel to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems.
• Prepare and maintain reports detailing all tests, repairs, and maintenance performed.
• Troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean equipment and components.
• Leader in Safety Culture and responsible for other team members.
• Ability to install, test and maintain electrical apparatus.
• Understand the theory behind and reason for testing and analyze results.
• Develop and write reports and create testing plans.
• Project management of large scale and complex projects.
• Ability to train and qualify Field Technician I, II and III.
• Interact with customers and perform complex troubleshooting.
