Job summary

UpKept Services, the maintenance division of the Odevo US family, seeks a Senior Field Service Technician to deliver HOA maintenance across the Charlotte metro area and the Carolinas. You will lead on-ground activities, mentor technicians, and ensure high-quality repairs across multiple trades.

You will coordinate field teams, oversee large projects, and maintain OSHA-safe practices while documenting work orders and time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in residential or commercial settings.
• Knowledge of at least three trades; strength in two or more trades.
• Ability to mentor and guide other technicians.
• Experience scoping repairs and preparing labor and material estimates.
• Ability to read work orders, basic schematics, and scope documents.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assign and coordinate daily work for Field Service Technicians within your area.
• Mentor and train technicians in trade skills, safe work practices, and standards.
• Serve as the first technical escalation point before issues reach the Maintenance Director.
• Model quality, safety, and professionalism on every job site.
• Provide project oversight on large-scale jobs.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests within service timelines.
• Diagnose and resolve complex issues across trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
• Complete work orders with labor, materials, photos, and notes.
• Identify scope changes and escalate before proceeding.
• Document site conditions with photos and notes; support bids and proposals.
• Interact with community managers, board members, and residents professionally.
