Job summary

Gregory Poole Equipment Company seeks a skilled field technician to independently troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, rebuild and test parts on construction equipment in the field. You will work with manuals, diagrams, and diagnostic tools to resolve complex issues.

Requirements include eight years of Cat equipment experience, knowledge of four mechanical systems, and the ability to lift and operate heavy machinery.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience with Cat equipment or similar heavy machinery.
• Strong understanding of four mechanical systems (transmissions, engines, hydraulics, etc.).
• Ability to read manuals and reference technical information to troubleshoot and repair.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot, remove, install, replace, rebuild, repair and test parts/equipment in the field at expert level.
• Prepare for work by checking equipment, PPE, and required supplies.
• Use lift trucks, cranes, and tools to move parts and perform repairs on construction equipment.
