Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Field Technician to perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of complex security and IT systems.

You will conduct site surveys, configure hardware and software, test systems, and provide technical support to clients while ensuring safety and quality standards. Ideal candidates have 6+ years of electronics installation/maintenance experience, a HS diploma or GED, and progress toward or completion of electronics programs or apprenticeships.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an Electronics Technician program or an Electrical Apprenticeship program is required.
• An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities is required.
• 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance on multiple systems and customer programs.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills are required.
• Demonstrated experience working with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Executes on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Performs site surveys, configures hardware and software, and tests systems.
• Provides technical support to clients and communicates with project teams.
• Leads by example, mentors crew members, and ensures safety and quality objectives.
• Tracks project metrics and coordinates with teams for timely deliverables.
