Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Technician to perform on-site installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical, IT, and security systems.

The role requires a SECRET clearance, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams on mission-critical facilities. Responsibilities include site surveys, configuration, testing, commissioning, and collaboration with owners and design teams.

Qualifications

• Clearance/Citizen Type: U.S. Citizenship for access to classified information.
• Active SECRET Clearance is REQUIRED
• HS diploma or GED or Electronics Training
• Three additional years of electronics installation/maintenance experience
• Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Executes on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Conducts site surveys, configures hardware and software, tests systems for proper operation, and provides technical support to customers.
• Leads commissioning efforts and coordinates with owners and design teams.
• Mentors crew members, communicates with project teams, and participates in safety and quality reviews.
• Ensures compliance with QC plans and documents findings.
• Performs tool inspections, material ordering, and inventory management.
