Job summary

Air Products is hiring a Maintenance and Service Technician for the Greater Baton Rouge area. This residence-based role travels to customer sites daily within roughly a 200-mile radius.

A company truck, gas card, and tools are provided for on-site installs, repairs, and maintenance of cryogenic liquid and industrial gas systems. Ideal candidates have strong safety discipline, mechanical and electrical skills, and the ability to work independently or with teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related trade preferred.
• Experience with brazing preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and travel 25–30% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain cryogenic and gas delivery systems in the Greater Baton Rouge area.
• Serve as the primary interface with customers and coordinate with Air Products teams.
• Develop work scopes for equipment repair and overhaul.
• Promote safety and environmental compliance.
• Participate in department safety programs.
