Job summary

ECS Limited in Chantilly, VA is seeking a certified Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Field Technician I to join our Field Services team. You will observe, test, sample, and inspect soils, aggregates, concrete, and structural steel at construction sites under guidance from senior technicians and project managers.

This role offers professional development with certification opportunities from ACI, ASNT, NICET, ICC, and DOTs, plus mileage reimbursement and growth toward advanced

Qualifications

Requires 2+ years of field experience.
High School diploma or GED.
2 basic certifications and 4 advanced certifications are required/encouraged.
OSHA 10 is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and insurance required.

Responsibilities

Perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials on construction sites.
Conduct routine field tests for soils, aggregates, concrete, and related materials.
Collect data, prepare field reports, and document site observations.
Maintain daily communication with site contractors and project teams.
Receive training in ECS methodology for field observations and testing.
